Why canīt I just use a regular glass cleaner to clean them?
Cleaners cannot reverse the chemical process that causes the plastic lens to deteriorate. Some cleaners contain ammonia or solvents which may advance the deterioration and yellowing/clouding process of plastic lenses.

Yes, there are do-it-yourself lens restoration kits available, but so far we have not found any kits that even come close to our process. The difference is that our process brings the plastic lens close to its original finish, whereas most kits simply paint a "clear-coat" type polymer finish on the lens to make it shine. It looks bad and these kits usually cost more than our service. Our service will cost you less money, and all of the work is done for you by trained professionals using professional grade products!
