What is the cost for having the haze removed from lights of the average car?
The average cost for this service is $60 - $100. Replacing your headlights can cost up to $400 or more! We can restore your headlights to like-new condition in just minutes and for a fraction of that cost.
What is involved in this service? All of our work is performed on-site at the location of your choice. The overall process for both headlights can be done in approximately 30-45 minutes by a highly trained professional who will also provide you with instructions on how to maintain your headlights' appearance.
How clear can you get my headlights?
Our service can restore the clarity of your headlights up to 95%, almost like brand new!
Do you have to remove my headlights in order to clean them?
No, we do not have to remove your headlights. Our process was designed to be done with your headlights in place. All of our products are safe and will not damage your paint job.
Why canīt I just use a regular glass cleaner to clean them? Cleaners cannot reverse the chemical process that causes the plastic lens to deteriorate. Some cleaners contain ammonia or solvents which may advance the deterioration and yellowing/clouding process of plastic lenses.
Are there specific makes or models that are affected? No. In the late 1980's the U.S. Government began requiring all automotive manufacturers to replace glass headlamps with polycarbonate (plastic) assemblies. Today, almost all cars and trucks on the road are equipped with plastic headlamp assemblies.
If my headlights are really bad, yellow, oxidized, hazy, etc. and have a rough texture to them, can you still restore them? Absolutely. This occurs after years of exposure to harsh environmental elements such as UV sun rays and road debris. However, our service can still restore the clarity of your headlights up to 95%. We guarantee it!
I have seen lens restoration kits advertised that say I can do this myself. What is the difference between buying a kit and doing it myself and having you do it for me?
Yes, there are do-it-yourself lens restoration kits available, but so far we have not found any kits that even come close to our process. The difference is that our process brings the plastic lens close to its original finish, whereas most kits simply paint a "clear-coat" type polymer finish on the lens to make it shine. It looks bad and these kits usually cost more than our service. Our service will cost you less money, and all of the work is done for you by trained professionals using professional grade products!
Do I have to take my car to a shop?
No. Our technicians come to you, whether it be your home, work, wherever. Just give us a call and schedule whatever time is best for you!
Will the chemicals you use on my car damage the paint?
No. All the chemicals we use are perfectly safe and will not harm your car in your any way.
How long will my headlights stay clear?
About the same length of time it took them to turn opaque in the first place. Care instructions are provided which can result in your lenses lasting indefinitely.
What type of guarantee do you offer?
We offer an iron-clad guarantee that if you are not 100% satisfied with our work, you do not owe us a cent!
