PLASTIC vs GLASS

In the late 1980's the U.S. Government saw that broken glass involved in car accidents was a hazard and began requiring automotive manufacturers to use plastic headlight assemblies.

No longer could you go to the local department store and buy a $5 or $10 replacement.

Today, almost all cars and trucks are equipped with plastic headlamp assemblies.  The replacement cost for these ranges from $100 to $1200 or more per light!

Our process saves the customer up to 80% of the cost of replacement headlights.  The customer does not have to take their car to a body shop - all work is done at the customer's location and only takes 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the type vehicle being repaired.

WHY DO HEADLIGHTS "HAZE"

"Hazing" is the result of sand, dirt, grease, oil, and other elements and road debris coming in contact with the lens.  These elements cause small pockets in the lens.  The dirt gets trapped in these pockets and eventually baked in by the sun.  This is why you can't simply rub or buff the haze off of the lens.  Hazing reduces the amount of illumination emitted from the light, causing dangerous driving conditions.  Not to mention making the car look bad.

WHAT ABOUT OTHER PRODUCTS AND DO-IT-YOURSELF KITS?

We have seen and used a number of products on the market today.  We have yet to find a product that will work or even come close to the having the results our process has on cleaning the lens.  The difference is that our process brings the plastic lens close to its original finish, whereas most kits simply paint a "clear-coat" type polymer finish on the lens to make it shine.  We have also found that some headlight manufacturers put a clear coat finish on the lens in an effort to prevent "hazing" from occurring.  However, this eventually begins to crack like an eggshell.  Also you will find that many body repair shops will paint a clear coat on the lens to try to make it look better.  This will eventually start cracking as well.

As of this date, we have never had a dissatisfied customer or any complaints whatsoever.  The most common words from our customers are "amazing" and "unbelievable"
